Terms of Service
Last updated: April 2025
1. About these terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of Inuio, operated by Inuio Limited ("Inuio", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Our services
Inuio provides automated invoice chasing and ESG emissions reporting tools for businesses in New Zealand and Australia. Our services connect to third-party platforms including Xero via their official APIs.
3. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use at hello@inuio.co.nz.
4. Free trial and billing
New accounts receive a 7-day free trial. No credit card is required to start a trial. After the trial period, continued use of paid features requires a valid payment method. Subscriptions are billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Inuio to send unsolicited communications, violate any applicable law, or interfere with the operation of our services. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.
6. Your data
You retain ownership of all data you provide or that is synced from third-party services. We process your data only to provide the services you have requested. Invoice PDFs are fetched, sent, and deleted — they are not stored on our servers. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details.
7. Third-party integrations
Our services integrate with Xero and other third-party platforms. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms of service. We are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of third-party services.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, Inuio is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via an in-app notice. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
